Copper Scientific publishes self-service tools for individual scientific jobs. We are not a laboratory platform, a LIMS vendor, or a services firm with a product brochure.
Who
There is no sales team and no implementation project. The publisher of record is Copper Scientific. Public contact is hello@copperscientific.com. Exports carry a software version so a layout or rename map can be inspected later. We do not put a named byline on these tools to invent academic authority we have not earned.
What we publish
A tool ships when a trained scientist can find it, run it, and keep the export without an account. Browser tools keep files in the tab. Destinations that have to change a run folder ship as a local program. Application notes are HTML, ungated, and written from the behavior of a tool we actually specified—not summarized from vendor documentation to collect search traffic.
Live today: a 96-well plate layout planner and an Illumina index collision checker. Next: a Cell Ranger FASTQ filename renamer, shipped as a downloadable so the files on disk actually change. The catalog grows one job at a time.
What we refuse
- A LIMS, inventory system, electronic notebook, or “all-in-one lab platform.”
- Patient-identifiable data, or analytics that collect research payloads.
- Silent edits that could change scientific meaning. Ambiguous repairs stay marked for review.
- Invented testimonials, logo walls, or “trusted by N labs.”
- Gated PDFs, countdown offers, or a content mill about assays we do not run.
