Science is hard enough. The tools shouldn’t be. Copper Scientific exists to take the fragile, time-consuming work off the path between a scientist and the thing they are trying to discover. Public contact is hello@copperscientific.com.
What we’re building
Focused software for laboratory and computational workflows: understandable in minutes, usable immediately. A 96-well plate planner and an Illumina index collision checker run in the browser today. Tables stay on your machine. Next is a Cell Ranger FASTQ filename renamer, as a download, because a webpage cannot rename a run folder. Next after that is Copper Data, a researcher-friendly interface over the lab’s own AWS storage. Also a download. Not a LIMS.
What we will not build
- A LIMS, ELN, inventory system, or all-in-one lab suite.
- Anything that needs patient-identifiable data. Do not send PHI.
- Silent edits that could change scientific meaning. Those stay marked for review.
- Fake testimonials, logo walls, or “trusted by N labs.”
