By using this website you agree to these terms. The marketing site currently describes tools; some of those tools are not yet available to run.

Scientific outputs

Copper Scientific tools are aids for trained laboratory and bioinformatics work. They do not replace experimental design review, local SOPs, instrument validation, or your own inspection of results. Layouts, repaired files, and reports may contain mistakes. You are responsible for verifying outputs before they affect samples, patients, publications, or regulated work.

Outputs are not medical advice and are not intended for clinical decision-making.

Acceptable use

Do not submit patient-identifiable data or other PHI. Do not use the site to break the law, probe our systems, or overload the service. Do not represent our outputs as having been reviewed by Copper Scientific for a specific experiment.

Accounts and payment

One-off tools are designed to run without an account. The plate planner and the Illumina index collision checker are free, including export. The Cell Ranger FASTQ filename renamer is planned as a free downloadable. Other tools may be paid; when a price is shown at checkout, that is the price. Waitlist signup is not a purchase. A private operator console exists for Copper Scientific staff and is not an account for using the tools.

Limitation of liability

The site and tools are provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Copper Scientific is not liable for lost samples, failed runs, delayed experiments, or other damages arising from use of the website or its outputs. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places the limitation applies only as far as allowed.
